At CSAGSS, we understand that access to nutritious food is a basic necessity. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our brand-new initiative – the CSAGSS Online Food Bank. We’re revolutionizing the way you access essential food supplies by bringing convenience and efficiency to your fingertips.
Food-Pantry @Morningside was launched on August 16, 2016, with the aim of alleviating hunger by ensuring that food is accessible to all individuals requiring assistance. We have been serving the community for more than eight years, dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of those who are food insecure. Our commitment extends beyond providing food. By partnering with local organizations and volunteers, we have created a robust network of support that fosters community resilience. Looking ahead, we remain focused on expanding our reach and impact to meet the evolving needs of our community.
Amidst the unprecedented challenges brought about by COVID-19, the invaluable contributions of frontline workers, including community members like us at CSAGSS, have become more evident than ever. When the closure of pop-up food banks in Toronto Public Library left our community in Tuxedo Court with immediate needs, CSAGSS swiftly responded. Collaborating with the Daily Bread Food Bank, we initiated a temporary food bank. This initiative has now evolved into a permanent fixture known as the Last Tuxedo Court Food Bank, located at 50 Tuxedo Court.
While food comes to us at no cost, financial support is essential to cover our operating expenses. Help us stay open and continue serving the community!
